This classic, delicious green tea from Laoshan in Shandong Province is a spring picked, small leaf tea that's lightly twisted and rolled. The flavor hits right away with smooth vegetal and roasted corn umami that's naturally sweet with a hint of astringency. It has loads of flavor with a wonderful mouth feel, excellent body that coats the mouth and a super clean finish. Other tasting notes you might find: toasted rice and barley, maple, malt, fruity, broth, oats, vanilla, butter, asparagus, honey, mineral, nuts, spring peas, lemongrass... All in all, an incredibly comforting and satisfying green tea. My new favorite!
