A beautiful new design from the famous Iwachu design studios in Japan. The Modan Raisu (Modern Rice) is a uniquely tall, slender teapot with a raised ring around its 'waist' and decorated with raised grains of rice in clusters of five all aligned in an elegant formation. The exterior is bathed in rich cocoa brown with the raised decoration and Iwachu logo peeking through in black. Oh, and check out the AMAZING filter basket designed for this special teapot. Perfection.


This teapot includes a fitted fine mesh tea strainer basket and a porcelain enamel lined interior. Care instructions will be included with every Tetsubin.
