Cold Brewing Tea!
Cold brewing tea is easy. AND, you still get all the healthy polyphenol antioxidants!
Just add your tea leaves, any kind of tea leaf will work, to cold water and store overnight in the refrigerator. Keeping the water cold, unlike the sun tea method, will protect your iced tea from any harmful bacteria. The water will gently dissolve all the tasty, healthy compounds and leave the acidic, bitter compounds behind. This makes for a much smoother, tastier beverage. Plus, less caffeine!
