Hanikamu - Japanese Nambu Tetsubin Unlined Water Kettle
70 ounce capacity, extra large
Set the tea mood with our highly detailed, supremely elegant Hanikamu (Honeycomb) Japanese Tetsubin handcrafted cast iron water kettle. This dark charcoal brown Tetsubin features a stylized raised honeycomb pattern over the exterior of the body and lid. It also has a wonderfully organic and sturdy handle. If every pot of tea is important to you, then a Japanese Nambu water kettle should be a part of your tea making ritual. And the Hanikamu makes a dazzling sixth anniversary (iron) gift!
7 1/8" diameter, 8 5/8" diameter w/ spout, 5 5/8" tall with lid but not including handle, 9 3/8" tall w/ handle (*handle is permanently upright*).
This water kettle does not have a porcelain enamel interior (it is unlined) and does not include a strainer basket. You may use this Tetsubin kettle to boil water. In fact, I recommend it! Care instructions will be included with every Japanese Tetsubin water kettle.
