Their artistic beauty & unparalleled contribution to the art of tea enjoyment is world famous.  Each teapot is carefully crafted & stamped with the artist's chop mark then strategically fired to create a vessel that can withstand dramatic changes in temperature. Tiny air pockets are also created that improve heat retention for more complete infusions.  The unglazed, porous nature allows tea flavors to be absorbed which enhances each subsequent pot of tea & adds a beautiful patina to the exterior.  Each teapot is unique & no two are identical.
