Organic Pu Erh Green Tea (Cake) From the mountains of China's Yunnan province, we are offering a sweet, earthy Pu Erh green tea cake. (See image top, center) The large leaves from these ancient trees are gathered, steamed and then pressed into small cakes. These cakes are then aged to produce a mellow, fragrant, lightly sweet, rather earthy and low caffeine green tea. Just break off a bit and infuse multiple times. Store your Pu Erh in a cool, dry place for as long as you'd like, it will only improve with age.

Organic Long Jing Dragonwell Grown in the famous West Lake region of China, this organic Dragonwell is considered one of the world's finest green teas and has attained the status of an Imperial Tribute Tea. The thin, delicate leaves are carefully picked and hand processed in early spring when the mountains are still shrouded in mist. The leaves have a blade-like appearance with a golden sheen and give a pale green infusion with a lingering sweetness. The West Lake region has grown tea since the Tang Dynasty (8th century AD) and it is here that the modern method of making green tea was first developed. 2 oz. - $ 8.80 (refill

Pi Lo Chun (Biluochun, Green Snail Spring) This is one of China's most famous teas and is named for the hand-twisted, snail-like appearance. Multiple short infusions give a sweet, fragrant brew while longer infusions produce robust 'caravan' characteristics. Light floral with hints of leather, smokiness and fresh cut wood. It's so complex that each person has a slightly different interpretation. But one thing is agreed on, it's wonderful. 2.5 oz. - $ 7.20 (refill
